How much money can I receive through a HEERF二世 emergency grant?

Based on 澳门金沙注册’s plan, which includes guidelines from the U.S. 部门 of Education to distribute HEERF二世 emergency funds, the amount students are awarded is based on their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and their student 援助指数（SAI）. 学生 with exceptional 需要 will be prioritized in grant distribution and will receive a larger grant award than students without demonstrated exceptional 需要. If I’m awarded a HEERF二世 emergency grant, how will I receive my grant money?

HEERF二世 funding will not be applied to your 澳门金沙注册 account. 即使你 have outstanding tuition and fees, your funds will be deposited in your BankMobile or personal checking account, or you’ll be sent a check in the mail. 如果你愿意 use these funds to pay your account balance with 澳门金沙注册, please do so through 阿特拉斯.

We will begin processing your disbursement (distribution of funds) on Monday, August 2, 2021.

Please note: After disbursement begins, it may take up to three days before you receive the funds in your account through electronic transfer, and it may take more than 21 你收到寄来的支票需要几天.

我该怎么办？ if I have expenses related to the coronavirus but I am not eligible 为HEERF二世基金?

Currently enrolled, degree-seeking students who do not meet the eligibility requirements for HEERF二世  funding may be eligible for a grant through the Valencia 支持基金.* The Valencia 支持基金 is made available through donor contributions and other college funds to help eligible students cover expenses related to food, housing, courses materials, technology, health care, tuition, fees or child care.

Please note: because international students on F or J visas already had an opportunity to apply for a Valencia 支持基金 grant earlier this term, they are not eligible 在这个时候申请额外的资金.

*Please note: if you are eligible to file a FAFSA, you must do so. 如果你不能提交 a FAFSA or can file a FAFSA but don’t meet other HEERF二世 federal emergency grant requirements, then you may qualify to receive financial assistance from the Valencia 支持基金.

Can I apply for HEERF二世 funding and the Valencia 支持基金?
