Steps to 招收

申请 Admission to Valencia 和 金融援助 (be sure to check for important dates 和 deadlines).

  1. 创建您的 阿特拉斯 账户

  2. Complete 的 online New Student Orientation (sign up at 的 My 阿特拉斯 tab in 阿特拉斯) 和 attend 的 face-to-face New Student Orientation (sessions will be offered in 凤凰木)

  3. Pay for your classes (log into 阿特拉斯 to see your tuition bill)

  4. Get your student ID card (at 的 凤凰木 Campus Security) 和 parking decal (in 阿特拉斯)

  5. Get your textbooks (books will be distributed at 的 凤凰木 Campus) 和 go to class

First Time In College 学生

学生 who are attending college for 的 first time will need to do 的 following to enroll at 的 凤凰木 Campus:

  • 检查 course packages for your intended program degree 和 major, 和 select an option that best fits your schedule. Both full-time 和 part-time options are offered in 的 morning, afternoon, evening, 和 weekends.
  • 检查 upcoming events list 和 attend one of our Application Days offered in 凤凰木. You can also go to 的 Osceola Campus located at 1800 Denn John Lane, Kissimmee during regular business hours for assistance. You will need to complete 的 Valencia application form 和 的 FAFSA.
  • 遵循 Steps to 招收ment to complete your registration. You should be prepared to enroll in a course package at 的 New Student Orientation.

Course Package Options

学生 who are enrolling in college for 的 first time or dual enrollment students can elect to choose from a variety of Associate in Arts 和 Associate in Science course packages at 的 凤凰木 Campus. Course packages are offered in a variety of scheduling options 和 的y contain all 的 courses that students need to complete 的ir degree from start to finish at Valencia.

Returning 学生

学生 who have already been taking classes at Valencia have two enrollment options:

Please check with your Academic Advisor or contact a 凤凰木 Student Services Advisor if you have questions or concerns about your degree 和/or classes.

Senior Citizen 学生

学生 who are classified as a Florida resident for tuition purposes age 60 years or older are eligible for Valencia's tuition waiver up to a maximum of 6 credit hours 每学期. The waiver includes tuition 和 st和ard course fees. The Application for Admission fee 和 any special fee associated with a course will be 的 responsibility of 的 individual requesting 的 waiver. 登记 using this waiver is limited to "audit" only; classes may not be taken for grades or academic credit. 登记 for any class is limited to "space availability," 和 will only be allowed after 的 date listed in 的 Important Dates 和 Deadlines Calendar in 的 online official catalog. Internships 和 independent study classes are excluded from 的 waiver. To use 的 waiver, 的 senior citizen must register 和, on 的 day of registration, visit a campus Business Office with documentation of age, such as a driver's license, 和 request 的 Senior Citizen Waiver. 任何特殊的 fees must be paid at that time.

Note: If you register for 的 course prior to 的 allowed registration period, or are given a capacity override, you will not be eligible to use 的 waiver for 的 course, even if 的 course is dropped from your record.
